Regional Sales Manager

Position Summary:

Perform functions to manage and consistently grow revenue and profitability within the defined account assignment. Manage manufacturer’s sales representatives throughout the region and directly call on select strategic accounts. Act as a liaison between the field and internal support groups to provide professional and responsive support to our customers.


Primary Responsibilities:

  • Directly call on a defined account base of strategic customers
  • Manage manufacturer’s sales representatives and their activities within applicable accounts.
  • Work closely with the assigned Customer Care Team to provide the highest levels of service to our customers
  • Execute account strategy based on the overall company strategy
  • Develop and actively manage a pipeline of well qualified opportunities throughout the sales process
  • Support product management and marketing as necessary (market analysis, competitive intelligence, industry trends, etc.)
  • Actively manage customer pricing and negotiate contracts on behalf of the company.
  • Provide reports to management as defined



  • Consistent YOY sales revenue growth
  • Consistent YOY profit growth
  • Consistent new business development activity


Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5-7 years of Regional Territory Management experience
  • Advanced communication skills & the ability to maintain a positive disposition
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong desire to learn, self-motivated, detail oriented and a team player
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast paced environment and manage a frequently changing workload
  • Ability to think quickly & solve problems while taking the initiative towards resolution
  • Superior PC knowledge to include MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • 30% travel required
