Revcor Employees Give Back To The Community
November 21, 2018
Carpentersville, Illinois – November 21, 2018 – In this season of giving, Revcor employees remain committed to supporting our local communities. Our philosophy is to volunteer time, goods, and monies to organizations that we know make a local impact. Some of the groups that we support include:
Boys & Girls Club of Dundee Township
An annual financial commitment earmarked for helping the club at Parkview Elementary school, less than a block from our headquarters, as well as sponsorship for the annual Youth of the Year Reception and Gala events. Joe Smedinghoff, our Director of Human Resources, currently serves on the Board of Directors and previously served as President of the Board from 2013 to 2016.
Salvation Army Elgin Corps.
Revcor provides financial support for this great organization. We also support their annual Red Kettle Bell Ringing campaign by manning a local site two nights a week with associates, family members, and vendors. We are active with the Angel Tree project where associates provide gifts for less fortunate families in our community. Drew Groharing, our Chief Operating Officer, currently serves as the President of the Board of Directors.
Additionally, Revcor supported the following organizations in 2018: Shop With A Cop, Crop Walk For The Hungry, True Patriots Care, Rotary International, F.I.S.H. Food Pantry in Carpentersville, Girl Scouts of Northern Illinois, Administer Justice, and Golfview Elementary’ s Resource Night.
